So Google, Amazon, and iCloud seem to be the big dogs in online photo storage and none of them have the one feature I’m looking for: directory / file folder / album style sorting.
I want to be able to move a photo from the main photo-dump library to an album / folder and have not appear in the main photo dump anymore. I can do it with regular files, I can even drag emails to folders and they disappear from the inbox.
Does anyone know of a photo site that allows what I’m looking for? I’m happy to pay a reasonable subscription fee.

Can I ask why? The ‘collection’ method is so much more powerful. You can have the same original image in different contexts, and if you edit it, all are updated.
