So lets say I’m doing street photography or I’m at some large event and I get a really good photo of someone (or their dog or their car or whatever). It’s gonna turn out well, I’m really happy with it, I want to give it to them after I’ve gone home and edited it. How do I make that connection with them?

I could do business cards, but I’m not trying to build a brand, I don’t necessarily want these people following me, and I don’t want to bother them with checking my Instagram every day to see if I’ve posted it.

Some events have a Facebook event or whatever, but again I don’t necessarily want to be plugging myself there, and not everyone is going to check that for photos. Also, bigger events often block that because it’s clogged up with people plugging their brand.

I was contemplating maybe business cards but just with details of where they can DM/email me and some blank space where I can write the file numbers from the camera, and they can reach out to me later to ask for those photos. Or maybe I collect their contact details and make my own notes of file numbers, but I feel like it would be more awkward to ask people for their details. Maybe I could offer both options? Or maybe there’s some website or app where I can just give them like a raffle ticket with their and they can get the photo from there, no weird personal contact needed at all?

Does anyone have their own system for this? What do you do, how’s it worked out for you?

    Notes application on tablet with sylus:

    They can write down their email, if they want, and I’ll make note of the image file/files;

    Upload photos to a backup gxxgle drive specifically used for such purpose,

    Manage access and add them to a file with their photo/photos,

    Gxxgle drive set to automatically inform the email address they have access.
