I’m starting to realize that to get rich, one needs to hang out with rich people but I’m not sure where to meet them. The only places I can think of are Silicon Valley and New York (no I don’t know where in New York they are).
Why have rich friends?
- If they didn’t make the money themselves, they at least know people who did can learn from them
- They’re the ideal customer because they can pay more for the same product

I would say motivated people more than rich. I have a lot of rich friends who did not make the money on their own so they don’t really know what to do with it or how to build off of it. try to surround yourself with successful and positive people overall, I would say

you have to join clubs or go to galas. Take up golf but you need to join a country club to really get good chat so I would say the easiest is good galas. you get to sit with other people at a table and get to know them. Plus it’s partially a tax write off.

In NY, especially Manhattan has the most billionaires in the US. Next, the eastern end of Long Island/Sag Harbor and surrounding harbors and beaches. Restaurants and resort clubs. But do you have social skills? Are you well educated? An excellent conversationalist? An interesting person in your own right? Do you “know stuff”? I think there are three main factors for success. Firstly, you need to have a network of contacts. Second, you need to be ready for anything. Third, you need to be at the best time. Once these three are ready, that’s the way to success
