          the audio drivers and background processors affect the sound. something you just gotta try yourself to find out.

          There’s a real difference, also try to make sure that you get a unit produced before the late 2010 board revision - coupled with the OS roll back it just poses a greater contrast for how far Apple devices’ analogue audio output quality has declined.

      It does for some reason (I downgraded my 4 from 7.1.2 to 4.3) and noticed a better and louder sound from the DAC
