Hello everyone i’ve got Canon R50 and it’s my first camera.I’d love to shoot with it outside in snowy or in cold conditions should i do it or not? Any external protections available that could be purchased except for good old packet over the lense and camera)?

I shot some stuff with a classic Canon 5D in a hotel driveway. It was raining outside but I was under cover. Camera started doing weird stuff and took a day or so to settle down.
I shoot a Panasonic full frame, weather sealed camera. My partner shoots in a canon m5. We both shoot in the rain and nothings happen to her camera. Weather sealing is nice to have if you constantly shoot in adverse conditions, most cameras survive light rain.
Weather is very important for everything?
For strong weather it’ll change the landscape to begin with?
For low weather change…it litteraly means lightning change? And a bad lightning with a bad angle means a bad photo?
My L glass is weather sealed, but I’ve also shot in rain with the 6D and it’s not come out the worse for wear (worst case, it shut down during one protest and then came right back after I let it dry in my vehicle).
That being said, one of the reasons I’m looking at higher end RF bodies is for the better weather sealing. I often shoot in New England or other places where the rain just won’t cooperate with you.
