Every AD story about Rolex makes me want their watches less and less. Like people talking about building a relationship to their AD or something like this question. Why should you put your head up some usual sales guys ass to get a very expensive watch. Thats something I just cant wrap my head around.
Yup. I got my Explorer 124270 from a grey dealer 2+ years ago for a $1k premium at the time. My collection was decimated and it’s been my only watch for that same time. Didn’t waste any time or money currying someone’s favor.
1k premium is ok considering what they are adding to some subs. But I wouldnt pay it. Maybe Rolex will get my attention again after 2025 when they ramped up their production capacity.
