Been getting a lot of ads for these watches on my social medias. They seem reasonably priced, and I like their simplicity. However, just have a question about their quality and durability. Would also be interested to hear opinions of similar alternatives in the same price range $200-$400. Thank you all!

They look good and priced fairly it seems like. Never held one in person. I was between this and the Seiko SRPJ83 36mm field watch.

I actually have been messaging them and they’re super friendly! I bought a watch from them and will be picking it up in January at their store in Japan while I’m on vacation. From what I researched and heard there are other brands in the price range that may be better to be honest. For me it’s more of the story traveling around Japan and picking the watch up.

They seem to be really solid. While some have complained about QC issues with their Miyota movements, they no longer even sell them with their 002.

I think the big draw to Kuoe is their small size. Not many brands stick to the 35mm movement.

Though I do bet their customer support gets slammed with, “Do you make these in men’s sizes?”

They look beautiful in photos and videos, but I personally find them a bit overpriced for what they are.

Great quality for the price and personable service you get from the brand. Definitely worth buying. Supporting a small upcoming brand feels great too.

I don’t get the love for them tbh. There are much more interesting, better quality, more creative AliExpress brands.

I was very close to picking one up, but decided against it last minute, because I read about their quality control issues. I was burned by another microbrand in a similar price range, and didn’t want to take another chance with the luck of the draw.

they look nice to me and most likely are a good quality watch for the money but i do not like the name of the company and the logo on the watch, the proportions of the letters in the name does not do it for me, really weird nitpick but thats it for me

You could look at what are the issues with some miyota movements, they seem to use them and usually when people complain about watches it’s actually the movement they complain about and miyotas are a bit quirky and that might be an issue for some people.

About kuoe, there aren’t that many watches that come in small sizes (35mm) despite lots of comments here saying that there are plenty of alternatives and this could be a big point for their watches.

The seiko Dolce line are also small dressy and classic watches (34mm for the men’s version) and these have HAQ (high accuracy quartz - 10s/year) movements.
