Joel Embiid definitely played like the reigning MVP tonight, scoring in every facet of the game, and playing tremendous defense on the other side of the court. Tyrese Maxey also dominated in the Sixers win over the Raptors.

I really think with this coaching , implementing cutters and actually knowing how to space the floor , that Embiids assist average should jump. He’s steadily improved his playmaking over the years but it’s been hard to see
If harden doesn’t return his assist numbers will increase just by DHOs. He is good for ~3-4 assists a game from just those and they are freebies.
Notice how positive Embiid posts have way less upvotes than the ones showing his bad plays?
And also 90% of comments are usually sixers flairs

For real though Joel was on fire today, looked pretty in control all game. Excited to see what the team can do with this new style under Nurse, the ball movement and off ball stuff looks so much better already.
