Next week I am going to Japan for four weeks and I would like to buy an original Seiko watch in Ginza. Now I just think it would be nice to buy a Japan Domestic Model (JDM) watch, with a kanji date if possible.
What models can you guys recommend to me and are there any other tips maybe? Are there people who are familiar with buying such models?

Not specifically what you’re asking for but how about Kuoe? It’s a Kyoto based microbrand plus it gives off that vintage GS/KS vibes.
