According to the most recent pricing FAQ (at the time of this post) it seems that 3 nodes remain “Free” as long as 3 nodes or fewer are in use. I do see that the license has an expiration date, so what happens once it expires? Is there a catch with the word “Free” in quotes?"

I wonder if they’ve changed it… I’ve used my free 5 node license for years.
On that page, we mention:
with the ability to renew each subsequent year
We plan to have a process for you to renew your license with us before the licenses reach expiry. We are still determining exactly what this process will look like, but the intent is for this license is that it can be renewed at no cost.
