Hi all,

I have negotiated a price for Grand Seiko Spring Drive via Chrono24 with Miyaran.

The final price is £3321. Customs and duty extra.

I can read people mentioning about customs challenging low value declaration.

So if the agreed price is declared. Will customs refer to UK MSRP to work out customs or use the declared value.

Also I have option if fedex or DHL. Which option is better.

I figured out watch will cost £4k in total. That is still lkt cheaper than MSRP. Watch comes with international warranty.

In my experience of using Chrono24 when shipping from Japan to Singapore, I still had to pay an additional amount on top of what I was already charged from Chrono24.

I usually budget for 25% for imports to cover tax and import fees when looking at purchases outside the UK
