So I’ve been wanting to get a clothing line up and running for over a year now. A friend of mine who sells his own clothes pointed me to Fiverr to get a simple but good quality logo created. I was basically wondering if I were to get my logo created there if I’d actually own my logo etc.

Also, anyone else who may already have a business up and running please chime in with tips as far as trademarking my logo as well please.

Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

You must specify transfer of ownership in the contract. It would shock a lot of people to know they technically don’t own the logo they paid for. Just as many should be shocked at the low level of accurate legal advice in a wantrepreneur forum, but aren’t.

Just use a font you like, no need to pay a designer.

Most if not all clothing brands have wordmark logos. Having a successful clothing brand is 95% marketing, 5% product!
