Ony of my friends and myself are the only people that have pirated at least once in their life. None of my other friends have considered it or know how to do it.

Pirates live in a bubble and think everyone will just pirate as protest when they don’t like something. In reality, nobody cares. Nobody cares about piracy nor pirates.

You must live in the US. Most people in the world pirate. Or buy pirated content from other pirates for pennies.

Wow. “You must live in the US”. I don’t live there. You’re so incredibly naive and racist. Country of origin wasn’t even under discussion. I don’t even know what to respond to that.

The US is the only country I know of that gives a shit about copyright laws. In Europe you might get an email from your ISP of they see you pirate, but its sent from bullshit company contracted from the US. You can just ignore them.

The only place I know of where you can’t openly buy pirated movies from street vendors is the US. Its normal in most of the world.
