Our company’s name is “ABC Technologies” (not real name). However, both abc.com and abc.io are being sat on by domain squatters who want a couple grand.
So now I’m deciding between using abc.tech or abctech.com. Which do you guys think looks more trustworthy/is easier for customers to follow? Thanks!
I’m in Canada, would the .com really by that much better then .c. The .com was thousands and the .ca was 10$
Unless your website is going to be THE money making place, don’t fret over it too much. For example, we chose https://hush.ac as .com was taken, other options were quite pricey, and for us the main front is our app, Hush - Express Freely. We would love to buy the popular domains at a later date when we are profitable, or maybe it won’t matter at all then. So, if you’re in a similar situation where your website is not the main attraction and you’re on budget (important consideration) then go for any cheaper option now and buy more familiar domains later. This is just my approach and of course others may suggest different.
There’s always .co!
