    Be careful tho, I dont think you’ll get gold plated on any of these watches !

    The PRX is a PVD yellow gold finish but does not contain any gold what so ever. Pretty sure it’s the same for the Seiko. I’m afraid the end result will not have a jewelry look that you seem to be after. Also note that the PVD is only coated and can result with some pretty choppy patina.

    With that in mind I would probably steer my choice towards stainless steel options tho I’m not expert enough to recommend any interesting options.

      I have an srpc44 in my collection that’s 5 years old. I’ve worn it quite a bit and the pvd still looks pristine, even between the lugs where I’ve installed a strapcode bracelet about half the time I’ve worn it. Just anecdotal evidence but seiko seems to do a great job on their gold tones
