I feel like the sort of person who would get offended by this sort of thing either does not watch basketball but if they do, they are likely north of 70 and will soon be in a coffin.
What is a good argument for the contrary? Are there fans who think taunting is gross and should not go on?
If you’re that “offended” by a guy hanging on the rim that you’re going to start a fight over it, how about trying to stop them with defense (or even a mid-air clothesline, if you’re that much of a “tough guy”) first?
Can anyone remember the last “rim hang” they saw that seemed like it was done to actually taunt the opposition, rather than to ensure a safe landing for the dunker?
