While the usual suspects are busy spamming about how bad Harden is because single game +/-, he’s been the only starter to actually shoot the ball from deep efficiently despite taking less shots because he’s been asked to ‘sacrifice.’
Kawhi Leonard: 1-6 from 3 vs BKN, 2-6 from 3 vs NYK
Paul George: 2-10 from 3 vs BKN, 1-6 from 3 vs NYK
Russell Westbrook: 1-5 from 3 vs BKN, 1-3 from 3 vs NYK
Harden has been very efficient in both games despite not having any training camp or time to gel with the lineups he’s been put in as they experiment. His lineup data will be bad because he doesn’t have an established minutes structure yet and has been thrown out with fully experimental lineups each night.
Their main problem is getting killed on the glass, not boxing out properly. Also on offense they need to move more without the ball and get easy fastbreak points. They seem to play alot of half court offense and iso ball.
They need to secure their defensive rebounds more than anythi g, they should try adding a player like Capela or Hakeem Olajuwon.
