James “Timothy” Harden played his final game for the Houston Rockets on January 12th, 2020 in a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. In the 236 games under Stephen Silas since then, the Rocket’s largest margin of victory was a 33 point romp of the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 22nd, 2021.
In just their 7th game with Udoka at the helm, the Rockets have defeated the very team that caused Harden to declare the Rockets were “just not good enough” by a margin of 34 points, just edging out their largest margin since Harden left.
Note 1: The Rockets defeated the Magic by 42 points on January 8th, 2020, but Harden played in that game.

There were other team staff members involved, and it sounds like he may have harassed her afterwards, so I would guess that Boston just wanted nothing to do with him at that point, despite being a good coach.
