Hello, I’m looking for a quartz watch that is durable and could take a beating. Right now I’m torn between the casioak (gab-2100) and citizen (not a particular model yet). The g shock I know is durable, but the citizen I can dress up.

How durable are citizen watches? Should I go for the casioak or a citizen?

    Don’t worry about the durability in citizen it is very good. If you want more durability 100% go for g shock otherwise if you want to dress it up more and care about that more than durability go for citizen. I have a g shock that I wear a lot and its truly amazing and super versatile.

    Also, if you’re patient you could set a notification on ebay for when the Promaster Tough bn0211 comes back in stock (if you’re in the US) .

    With the tough you get a sapphire crystal and a scratch resistant coating on the case and bracelet and 200m WR. The lume is not the best though. Here’s a great overview of these.

    There are variants without the bracelet and those should be more affordable but I don’t have the link for those so you can set a notification for when they are back in stock.
