Disclaimer: I am new to the used watch market.
I have a SQL007 Seiko on my radar that is sold „with papers“. Now the seller told me they are not filled out. What shall I make of that? Is that somewhat common? At first glance it seems somehow weird to me. And at least I would consider „empty papers“ = „no papers“.
Or am I too picky?
Empty papers on a cheap watch means ‘bought online’.
It went through a warehouse and that’s it.
Makes sense. But this is (and was) not a cheap watch.
We bought my son a Seiko from an AD during the pandemic. Ordered online and it came with box and papers. It had a warranty issue due to a faulty movement.
Seiko service center said to just send info about the sale. I found the charge and shipping receipt and it was fixed without issue by Seiko.
Our ppers were also blank.
