These are often young players with potential or show flashes and when they don’t play well people give them a pass. Or could be a very well liked player that people don’t feel like hating on. Or they’re on a small market team so no one pays attention unless the player drops 40

SGA #1 and Hali #2. SGA has walked his way into first team all-NBA without half the criticism that dogged Mitchell, Booker, etc, and he probably deserves it but gets very little blowback.

He deserves all the praise for elevating the Knicks, as a result Brunson has it good with the Knicks fan base right now (again deservingly so)

Wemby, but that feels like cheating because rookies are always inconsistent so people expect it.

Curry has been there ever since KD left. He doesn’t play bad often, but when he does it’s like it never happened.

    Jrue Holiday.

Even worse now with Dame on the Bucks because they’re going to be scrutinised as shouldn’t have gotten rid of Jrue but god, when he plays bad he stinkssss.

Great defender but people act like he’s never got cooked and then offensively he’s on/off.

Dame lillard almost received no hate when he got swept to the Pels in round 1. But everyone talks about his game winner against OKC

Jrue Holiday? In Bucks playoffs he’s super inconsistent but no one seems to notice. Also, Klay Thompson. Everyone talks about Game 6 Klay but he’s always been streaky as hell
