Instagram removed several of my comments for spam in the last two weeks.

None of my comments were spam based on my common sense and IG’s definition of spam. I left them on posts from accounts I have a long history of following.

Here is an example (not exact) of one of the removed comments:

“Awesome, I love this look. I have not tried that paper yet, but this is motivating to get to it.”

Have any of you ever had a similar experience?

I wonder if I should be concerned about a problem with my page. So far, my “Account Status” is all green in the settings.

I have not dabbled in the dark arts.

    Yes. I got suspended for a week for replying to a Turkish post in Turkish. I used google translate, as I don’t speak Turkish. The contents of the comment were soooo vanilla. Something like, “great photo, how do you like that camera?”

    So fucking weird.
