I’m toying with the idea of starting an online hobby shop, and while I’ve been able to scope out the majority of a sales and marketing strategy, target demographic, etc etc, I’m still stumped by how to get one piece of information.

How do I get wholesale prices without actually starting the business?

Am I overthinking this and it’s actually as simple as going to a wholesaler and saying “hey, I’m thinking about starting a business and I need to know how much product you’ll sell me and for how many dollars?”
