Hi, I am on my way to using the rM2 for a month. I’ve been truly satisfied with the rM and it’s been a great source of happiness for me. I initially bought the rM with the book folio but I got to love the rM so much and ended up getting the type folio.

It has been my understanding that if I type the title of my writing , I would be able to search the text with the typed text quickly. However, when I tried to do that this morning, I found that it didn’t work that way. I couldn’t search the specific text typed. For example, I put the title as ‘subtitle’ and wrote the contents in handwriting thinking I would be able to search the writing by punching in the title which is in this case ‘subtitle’. It didn’t work. The search engine didn’t find anything. Zero result.

My question is whether this is how it is meant to function. I know how to use the tagging system. However, sometimes I might want to find multiple information from one page. Then I thought I should be able to put several typed titles and then search when needed. It seems that it doesn’t work this way. Then what’s the use of typed headings? Can anyone give any solutions?

The search function is per notebook. So it’s not a global search like on an iPad for example
