Seriously though, if you don’t understand, it’s because there are now bathroom bans in the USA statewide (19 states I think) that criminalize trans people from using public restrooms. (This has also emboldened bigots EVERYWHERE into assaulting people for no good reason)
Some have also made it so that’s a sex crime. And also added that if you use the bathroom like this and there is a minor present, it’s a sex crime against a minor. They ALSO made it so that sex crimes against minors can be punishable by death, and have solidified the death penalty.
This is not new news, though. We’ve since progressed as a country to the point that ICE now just disappears innocent people who are grassroots political enemies, such as college students.
So, a transphobe who hates trans people likely does NOT want me going in any restroom, contrary to what the sign says here. And so to me, is an insult that he dares make a joke like this with his face on it, smiling like that.
