LemDro.id is the instance for all things Android within the threadiverse (Lemmy, Mbin, PieFed and now even NodeBB) and so it’s only right that F-Droid finds itself a host on Lemdroid.
The amazing team over at Lemdroid were gracious enough to host the F-Droid community. This opens F-Droid discussions to users whose home instance block ML and more users having easier access to content is never a bad thing.
So if you’d like to subscribe to a community dedicated to open source apps via a Google Play Store alternative, please check out !fdroid@lemdro.id
I see a deleted post with no context.
Bruv, seriously, why is this conversation even happening and here?
So stop trying to kill it then.
Look, fuck everything else. What Lemdroid needs isn’t posts, it needs comments. Real comments. Making it look busier isn’t going to do that. This is the same as in the football threads where you post with good intentions and get zero responses. You’re aiming for the wrong things.

It’s the opposite of killing it.
Example: a question asked on !android rather than !askAndroid: https://l.lemdro.id/post/8306421
145 comments
Another one, question on !android: https://l.lemdro.id/post/77457 - 190 comments
https://l.lemdro.id/c/askandroid?dataType=Post&sort=MostComments never got more than 51 comments
Activity brings activity
Exactly, and if someone had an “AskFootball” community where there would be 2 posts per week, I would also invite them to consolidate with the main Football community
