Very similar stats between the two. Though the pace and offenses at the time is obviously different which leaves Kobe at a disadvantage. Nevertheless, it’s pretty fascinating how similar the stats are. Is ANT the next SG great in line?

Everyone saying that OP is trying to compare the 2, i think they’re just comparing 2 very very similar stat lines not the players.

You are seriously comparing stat across 16 years?

    Fine

Give the damn trophy to Edwards now

If jokic is fine( I think he is), I am okay with that

    Pretty obvious he is.

There’s really only Book ahead of him (if we count Steph as PG).

And if continues averaging 28-6-5 with his defense and he makes it to the second round, I can’t see an argument for Booker.

WHY THE FUCK DO PEOPLE STILL COMPARE STATS TO OLD ERAS? This is the most brain dead way to look at the game

he can be, but what i need to see is something he has shown this year

which is the midrange game, this year he’s on fire, historically speaking he’s been bad, so he has to continue it

for me, it’s kinda what has stopped a lot of two way scoring players from being capital S superstars, because when it comes time to win, teams take away threes and the paint, can you get a shot that you can make 45-50% of the time when that happens?

it’s why KD/Kawhi have been a tier above PG this whole last era

PG could always create the midrange shot, but never really made it, meanwhile those two were making like 50% of theirs

If I was a Minnie fan instead of a Knicks fan, would my life really be that different? Do I have to live through a rehash of our 90s run, only worse, when instead I could cheer for the next great guard, a ridiculous clumsy French center and a seven footer with a Napoleonic complex? Isn’t that better?
