Hello, I purchased a Pioneer BDR-XS07U to begin ripping some 4K Blu Rays. I also purchased a new copy of Top Gun. After attempting to rip, I receive a “Read Error” after waiting for the rip to complete according to the logs. With both products being new, I am confused as to how I can be receiving a read error… Would anyone have any suggestions? I am on firmware 1.02 which should have no problem ripping the disc.
Sounds like your drive is faulty, return it
