got your first user? fixed a bug? wrote a line of code after a long day?

these might seem tiny, but they’re huge in the side project journey.

it’s these little victories that keep us going, that add up to big things.

so, what’s your recent small win? let’s share and cheer each other on!

You can go to wip.co to find a whole community about the small wins. And by small wins I mean small things like “✅ eat breakfast” and “✅ go to work” and “✅ attend funeral #name”.

The last one is not even a joke.

Sometimes I pop in just to see what people come up with in order to not have to lose their streak

I built Indiedeals recently which is a list of black Friday deals from Indiehackers. I was thinking we would get 50 deals by the end of the week, but we added 50 deals and there were 70 submissions on our website in 5 days. It might not be a big number, but it gave me enough confidence to continue.

A couple of weeks ago I got mail from the Google Search Console Team for my dibs website, subject line:

Subject: Congrats on reaching 5 clicks in 28 days!

I mean, it’s better than zero clicks I guess? I’m just not sure they needed to put an exclamation mark at the end.

Reach 1000 downloads on my app still pissed at Google and it’s poor discoverability on the PlayStore which seems aimed to hurt small indie Dev (how I’m supposed to get downloads and rating if you don’t show the app?) But a win is a win I guess ahaha

Last month my first app crossed $300 in revenue.
Seems like a big win for me, especially after a whole year of zero feedback from the market.
