I’ve recently been having problems with my watch getting unwound over night, even though I’ve been leaving it in the watch winder to help stop that problem. It used to never happen and I never had to leave it in the watch winder before. It doesn’t lose its power every day but it does happen once a week or once every two weeks at least.
My watch winder brand is inclake (or something like that) and I can’t find the TPD of it online anywhere, except in a youtube review where the guy counted the turns and the length of the pauses and determined it was abour 2,400 turns per day (or something like that). Regardless, that shouldn’t be an issue anyway because, like I said, I used to never even put it in the winder at night and it would retain its power anyway.
Could this be an issue of magnetization? I’ve never gotten the watch serviced and I’ve owned it for about 8 years.
It’s a mechanical device, man, you gotta maintain it.
Every 5-6 years is usually recommended by watch companies
