Who came up with that scheduling?

I understand that they’re not in the same group for the tournament but it’d still make sense to at least give every team a game in the tournament before things advance so far that teams are getting eliminated. The Raptors played Boston a few days ago. Why not make this an in season tournament game?

I’m just surprised the league wouldn’t try to include everyone early to get them on board with the tournament.

    I wish the tournament was actually mid season. this is the 10% check in tournament

    In season tourney should be in January.

    It takes teams a while to truly ramp up and with all of the holidays like Thanksgiving is 8 days out, Christmas 4 weeks after and then New Years a week after that you really would think a tourney called mid-season would be played in…mid-season. And mid-season is literally the entire month of January.
