Another game lost because of poor shot selection and lack of assertiveness. The Nuggets ran a Jokic post up for what looked like 5 possessions in a row in the late 4th (between 2:30 and 0:49), turning 102-98 into 104-109 real quick. A phantom call gave the Clips a 108-111 comeback, but they still couldn’t create a good look from 3.

Ik it sounds like an overreaction to one game, but this isn’t even the first instance of a situation like this happening for them, yet we’re only 6 games into the Harden experience. They just can’t click together against great defenses.

Do you just keep going and hope the dominoes fall into their respective spots? Do you trade one of them to try another experiment? Do you trade ‘em all and blow it up?

I don’t think it will be the big fix, but the lack of a genuine low-mistake back-up point guard (eg. a Monte Morris type) is concerning. Terrence Mann, Norm Powell, and Bones Hyland are not point guards.

Honestly think the Harden trade didn’t have a lot to do with how bad they are. It just maybe expedited us seeing the issues. Harden will def reveal your secrets.

Honestly all these guys are FA this summer…let em walk. I wouldn’t offer anything to them. It’s a clean slate mostly and you can start to rebuild. Idk how you run this back again.

The Clippers should try to beat the Bulls to the blow it up market.

They should at least be able to land a nice package for Paul George. Kawhi should also fetch something decent. They can probably just buyout Harden.
