No one has had a 5x5 (at least 5 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 blocks, 5 steals in a game) since JUSUF NURKIC in 2019 (the only player with a 20-20-5-5-5 in history) With all the insanely talented two-way players in the league, why hasn’t it happened recently?

Since blocks and steals have been tracked in the 70s, there have been 21 5x5s, so roughly 2 per year. Hakeen Olajuwon had six, and AK47 had 3 (two of which were only a week apart). Both perimeter players and big men have had 5x5.

We have so many talented and all-around players in the league, it seems like we’re overdue for another 5x5. Who is most likely to be the next? Bam does a little bit of everything. JJJ would need to get the assists but on a lucky night I could see it. Draymond has one and almost had a second, but he’s sprinting downhill as fast as he possibly can. Could Wemby or Chet do it as they round out their games?
