People will see the box score and think Trae lost the game for us but that honor falls squarely on De’Andre Hunter. I will celebrate so much when he’s off this roster. He’s a bum
Hunter was absolutely awful. Capela was somehow even worse - was completely worked by Robinson
Trae and Murray were both kinda bad - Trae had a ton of assists and ran the offense well, but has a bad shooting game and horrific defense (he was in every action in the final 5 min, when the Knicks scored 22 points). Murray was horrible through 3q, but then looked ready to be the crunch time hero with several made clutch buckets…until the crucial block by Mitch within the final minutes.
Bogi, Johnson (4-4 from 3!), and Bey were all terrific and the reason the Hawks were in the game. Okangwu was solid as well.
Quinn Snyder. I have to say I have never understood the hype around this man. He lost in the playoff the same way EVERY year. Taking Bogi out for a huge part of the stretch run was an absolute gift to the Knicks.
(Knicks fan here).
