I want to delete all social media, put away my consumption of technologies (I’ve done so a couple of times), but I always go back to market my nonprofit and coffee business. I throw a lot of events, and social media marketing gets me really far. However, I am wondering what other ways there are to connect with donors and buyers without depending on technology, and without hiring people. I wonder what other strategies are out there.
I dunno, this attitude has been popular for a while, but you have to remember that you run a business, and it is … Well, dumb… to think you can run your business without them.
Like what are you going to do, advertise in the yellow pages?
Stop being a consumer of content on social media and start becoming a creator - stop using it for entertainment, if you want, and start to run your socials with a business focus.
Social media is here to stay, there’s no putting the genie back in the bottle.
