There were a few osts in the past few days asking for the RM Black Friday sales. Most people advised that the sales would be limited to bundles. This is confirmed by the following copy on the Remarkable website:
How does the Black Friday Offer work?
We’re running a seasonal promotion where you get a discount when you buy an eligible bundle. The bundles on offer all include reMarkable 2, as well as Marker Plus, and Book Folio or Type Folio.
The discount amount depends on which bundle you choose. The only difference between the bundles is the included folio, which can be Book Folio in polymer weave or leather, or Type Folio.
Individual products aren’t discounted in this offer. So while you can configure your own bundle as usual, with whichever products you like, the resulting bundle won’t necessarily have a discount applied.
I’m a Connect subscriber — do I get an extra discount?
If you’re a Connect subscriber, you’re eligible for our Exclusive Connect Offer. This offer is for the same bundles as above, but includes an extra discount.
It’s valid for existing Connect subscribers (or anyone who subscribes before November 17, 2023), and can only be used once per subscriber. However, as a Connect subscriber, you can buy a bundle with the Exclusive Connect Offer, along with as many standard offer bundles as you like.
To claim the offer, log in to my.remarkable.com and click redeem offer. The Exclusive Connect Offer ends December 3, 2023.
could anyone tell the rest how much more of a discount connect members get? for a typical bundle of marker plus and folio? thanks!
It looks like the connect discount is $100 for the marker + type folio or leather folio bundle and $80 for the marker + polymer weave folio (so an additional $30 discount).
