I want to welcome everyone. I’m new to Lemmy and figured I’d start with like minds to form community. I’m also on Bluesky and Mastodon. My intro: I’m an author and bit part actor. I live between Dayton and Toledo, in the middle of sticks and pebbles. Big on human rights.
So, I just kind of got asked by someone to keep an eye on that community, because nobody else was. I think I’ve only ever had to remove one comment that was out of line.
It is pretty active though, and there are over 4k subscribers. I’m open for arguments as to why we should recruit from scratch over here, but I think it makes more sense to build on what we already have.
