As a companion to the “who is a player you don’t get the hype for” thread, here is something more positive. Who is a player you feel is either disrespected, misunderstood, underrated, or straight-up maligned to an unfair degree?
My pick is THJ. Every single time I watch this dude play (usually against the Lakers) he looks like Prime TMac. He just gets to his spots, elevates, and knocks everything down with such a pure stroke. He seems unstoppable at times. And yet, I know Mavs fans constantly are disappointed with his inconsistent play, so maybe I am missing something with my few-and-far-in-between impressions.

I’ve hated Booker ever since he pushed Schroeder in the back while he was mid air in the 2021 playoffs. They were losing the game and he threw a tantrum like a whiny little bitch.
