I’d like a budget option, but want to protect the book. It’s an 8x10 book hardcover.
Currently thinking to sandwich between two pieces of cardboard slightly larger than the book, wrapping in packing wrap (saran wrap material), then putting it in a padded envelope.
what have you all done?
I put a lot of work into these and I really want them to make it to the buyers home looking brand new.
Bubblewrap is good and inexpensive, stores easier than cardboard.
I’ve bought books online that were mailed in folded cardboard mailers designed for books. Something like this. They have scored lines so they can be adjusted/folded for different thicknesses of books. Even at that, I’ve had a few arrive with a dinged corner.
Cover the corners in cardboard to protect them. Bubble wrap it. Then a book bind mailer.
Buy 300 feet of bubble wrap. Use about 2 feet for packaging and the other 298 feet for pleasure.
