I seriously wonder what demographic of fans make and comment on posts regarding these two players. The fickleness, lack of knowledge and just bitterness is astounding in these threads.

    I think we have to normalize the word “hate” against r/NBA.

    When people hate on someone on r/NBA, it is not real hate. Sports is simulated warfare, and we are literally grown ass men arguing about who can throw an orange ball in a hoop better on the world wide web.

    I doubt anyone wish AD or Zion misfortune outside of basketball. I would say I am a hardcore KD hater, I wish all the teams he is on crush and burn; but outside of basketball, I wish nothing but success in his other ventures. I hate KD the basketball player the same way I hate Joffrey from GOT.

    So maybe we are taking the hate part too seriously.

    I don’t hate either, but I just want to say AD is one of the most overrated players ever. This guy was in the top 75 players ever, and isn’t even all that impressive in the games he has played.
