We have some pieces and cap flexibility / assets to trade for more. Just need a legit 2 way wing long term and the team will be good.
6 teams scored 120+ yesterday, oof. Scoring is out of this world in the NBA right now.

It’s absurd that they shot the amount they did. This is the modern NBA. At least get into 30 shot attempts.
Mark Williams is really fun to watch him rebound, but it was even more fun watching him try to challenge Lopez. Always a good reminder that “good for a rookie” doesn’t mean “ready to challenge quality NBA starters”.

But from the clippers side its obvious that the offense flows much better through harden and the defense also improves when him and russ dont share the court. That being said PG and Kawhi have to be better, they are the superstars now and in order to be championship level they have to be amazing and so far they have not.
I think people who are piling on Jalen Green are dumb. Yes he did not have a good game but this is first time in the NBA he has a coach who is hard on him. Also he faced a steady dose of PG, Kawhi, and Russ guarding him. Dude is 21/22 years old, wtf do you expect him to do.

This team’s starting 5 of Dennis-OG/Trent-Barnes-Siakam-Poeltl plays quality basketball together but could use a bit more shooting. This team just collapses whenever Darko puts in an all bench lineup or 4 bench-1 starter. Darko’s been doing better though and we’re seeing less long stretches of this.
We’re playing our best when in transition and when Scottie or Siakam identify mismatches in the post and create offense through that. When the bench checks in the offense goes cold and the defense turns soft.
I’d say we’re an average .500 team. Maybe a hair below .500.

Kings @ Spurs

An interesting fact that other Kings fans pointed out: this was Wemby’s first game without logging a block. While that might look bad in the box score, Wemby’s defensive presence was still obvious in the game, and it’s another example of how the box score doesn’t tell the whole story.
Also it was nice to see Sabonis hit some jumpers. 2/3 from 3 is great accuracy and relatively great volume. I think he also hit a floater over Wemby without much hesitation, and he hit a fadeaway over another defender too.

I’m certainly close to that.
Their own traded pick Franz Wagner hit an and-one over the guy they traded for in Vucevic who also missed the game-winner in the end. That’s just peak poetry in a sad way.
Just blow it up. It’s beyond over now. The Bulls aren’t going anywhere.
Reinsdorf might be the worst owner in the NBA now that Sarver is gone and Dolan stopped meddling with the Knicks. The fact that he stuck with Donovan the entire tenure of Zach,Vooch and Derozan is terrible.
