What an incredible dial. I don’t wear this as much as I should. The only let down is the movement. It runs horribly despite being serviced by Seiko themselves.

    This was my first automatic watch and I have to agree, the dial is a fucking masterpiece. You are 100% correct in saying the movement is 💩

    I’ve got the brown dial version of this mini-alpinist on a tan strap… Looks pretty, but my movement is also terrible. I’ve heard from others the movement (6R35) is hit or miss.

    This is a stunning watch. Excellent dial and hands design. This watch also looks great on a brown leather strap.
