I was running a bath and noticed that at certain angles the crystal becomes completely reflective like a mirror. I know that it’s got to be to do with water refracting light or somethjng. It’s a first for me, has anyone else noticed this or knows of any other weird behaviour of watches under certain conditions etc?

Snell’s law. You are varying the refractive index of the external medium (air vs water), thus varying the critical angle for total internal reflection.

I’m going to be completely honest, it’s not something I’ve ever noticed.

Just to add, I really had to double check which subreddit I was in, but we really are on the regular watches subreddit, viewing a man with his hand submerged in bath water.

Yeah it’s something I’ve noticed while underwater with a dive watch on. At certain angles it turns into a perfect mirror, looks really pretty when it reflects the waters surface.
