With Lakers climbing to 3-0 in the in-season tournament would the NBA help them reach the finals for the widest reach and coverage for this new format? Lakers getting the very first in-season tournament sounds like a very marketable idea for this tournament moving forward.

I’m feeling like the Mavs rigged for the IST winners so Luka can get an MVP, ‘cos he ain’t getting it any other way.

Eh, it seems like the Nuggets have their number. Which I’m assuming they would have to face at some point t in the tournament. Maybe they will get lucky, it is one game.

They’re rigging the tournament for LeBron to win the MVP so they can name something “big” after him when he retires ^(\s)

The LeVegas James Grand Finals MVP Trophy, a perfect complement to the Adam Silver Mickey Mouse Invitational

They can have it. I would prefer my team get some worthwhile rest in the middle of the season. The only benefit I see are the group stage games that do matter and getting some reps for guys like AB, Jett and Houstan.

I mean the group they’re in is absolutely shit, it’s got Portland (tanking), Utah (kinda tanking but not great anyway), Memphis (who are terrible for other reasons) and the suns who were struggling when the lakers played them, the lakers are trying to contend so I’d be surprised if they weren’t leading

I can see the logic of that group but its just turned into an easy matchup for the lakers

Lakers, Mavs, Philly and Celtics looking scary. I honestly thought Sixers would be ass after Harden left but they’ve improved.
