We suck but awesome game by these two despite the loss. They are both 3-level scorers in this league and displayed it tonight with their shotmaking. It’s unfortunate that Clifford isn’t that good of a coach but I think these two + a top 5 pick next year can be the start of a promising young core.
LaMelo has also been on a tear lately, scoring 25+ points in his last seven games. It’s good to see him score like this after a dubious start to the season.
Miller seems to be picking up where he left off before getting hurt earlier this season and should be the starting 2 guard for the Hornets for the rest of the season.
A backcourt of LaMelo and Miller is extremely intriguing due to their unique positional size (LaMelo at 6’7" and Miller at 6’9").
can’t get to the all star game if we’re not better than 8th seed in January tbh.
it is what it is, team performance is always included even in personal achievements, even if Lamelo is carrying this team on his back most nights :(
