I normally hate these lists and while I don’t agree with everything (j&co specifically - unless we are talking last 3 years billionaire shit j&co) this one is kind of a refreshing take. Also ‘whelming’ made me giggle

I don’t care for them either, especially for the cost! Though, my buddy has a Radiomir GMT Alarm from the early 2000s and it’s very cool!

Fair. I just assumed that if I put Seiko lower a lynch mob from r/watches would come to my house

I’ve bought two Timex watches, and the quality of the movement in both has been ATROCIOUS; rattle-y, poorly aligned, inconsistent. Won’t get another.

$200k + being middle class is pretty hilariously out of touch with the US and even more so with the rest of the world.

Maybe in NY or San Francisco you could argue that’s middle class, but not the rest of the world.

I did say upper-middle professional and $200K+ as a household. That could be well-paid middle management in a corporation, lawyer, small business owner, or two spouses making close to $100K.

Admit my US bias though, for sure.

I guess you could say top 10% is upper middle class and those roles wouldn’t be unreasonable for that.

I believe this hierarchy reflects little more than the OP’s financial situation. It biases the entire list.

An income of $200k, anywhere in the US, is solidly upper class, not upper middle class. Just FYI.

Orient, particularly the Bambino is probably may favourite watch if you want to give off the upper middle class professional look. Automatic movement, elegant, and incredibly priced
