Hey, guys. Happy sunday.
I’m live in Spain and looking for a Tudor Black Bay 58. First time looking at Chrono24 and found a few good professional sellers (+4.5 stars and 500-1.000 transactions) that sell it for a €200-300 less than Tudor or any official retailers and filtered by: EU, Original Box and Papers, New/Unworn, Professional Dealers, Buyers Protection.
I’m interested in knowing where that price difference comes from. Is it because it might be an open box product that was never used and might be a few years old? Otherwise I’m not sure why it would be cheaper.
They’re probably gray market resales. The sellers buy them from authorized dealers for a discount by skipping the warranty, and then they resell them to you for a small margin.
I’ll ask the resellers. I thought you wouldn’t lose the warranty. If the difference is 300 euros, for a 4k watch I’d definitely go with the retail store.
Wouldn’t the warranty be transferred to me in that case? It should be either new or unworn.
