Hi,

I’m looking to buy a new mechanical dress watch up to 1000€. I have a white collar job so I’ll wear it almost daily. I’m torn between the Le Locle (645€) and the FC (850€). With the Le Locle, I prefer the propeller shaped hands and the open case back. However, the FC has a crisper dial. I was also thinking of exchanging the default black wristband for a brown one, which might work better with the Le Locle than the FC (due to the silver hands). Any thoughts? Which one should I go for? Which one has more “bang for the buck”? Also happy for any alternative recommendations you might have.

Le Locle seems to be kind of on its own, while FC is clearly Breguet knock off. I’d choose Tissot

That exact Le Locle was my first automatic! The back of the watch is beautiful also. So I’m partial to the Tissot. I’ve had it 15yrs, wore it every day for a very long time with zero issues. I have a ton more watches now, but that is, in my opinion, a beautiful and professional looking watch. Enjoy whatever you end up getting!
