If you think all great ideas are taken already.
You are just not paying attention enough.
Here’s how I got my painkiller Saas idea just by browsing online.
I found a viral post introducing people to HARO.
So did 11k other people.
But one comment underneath caught my eye.
“The only problem I find with them is that now they send me 4 emails per day every day, and I sincerely read like 1-2 per week.”
That’s a clear problem needing a solution.
So, I came up with an idea of using AI to solve this particular problem for this particular person.
I built it, validated it, launched it. Now I have 50+ signups and closing in on $100 MRR.
Don’t just scroll.
Pay attention. Listen. Keep note.
Address a pain point.
You might just find your next big idea.
Is this a clone of getbacklinks.ai ?
The idea is an ai that sends 2 emails instead of 4 or reduces the emails u get?
I’m assuming you give it access to your inbox and it gives you a weekly summary of all the emails from each source
inside each email you get a list of 10+ things too, so we reduce it down to 1 or 2 that make sense, if it’s 0 then we skip the email
Who thinks all great ideas are taken?
Your idea is still an idea or work in progress.
Release you product first then come back
Ok where do I sign up because I’m drowning in haro emails

My I ask how do you go about monetizing your SaaS? I got several pain points I could fix with software just need a way to go about implementing it
How much are those pain points costing your customer?
That’s an inspiring story! It’s incredible how you identified a specific problem and used AI to create a solution. Your approach of paying attention to details and listening to user feedback is a valuable lesson for all entrepreneurs. It shows that great ideas can come from everyday observations and addressing real-life pain points. Congratulations on your signups and MRR growth! It’s stories like yours that motivate others to look closer and think creatively. Looking forward to seeing where your journey takes you next. Keep up the fantastic work!
Totally agree, you just gotta need to make the idea better
Did you use open source ai models or chatgpt? And how did you get and define your early adopters?
GPT-4 API, hosting your own models is a waste of time
Congratulations. Now you can write a book titled “from 0 to 100”.
that idea is taken probably, but wait…
Looks like you did it right. Most people launch then validate after, typically a recipe for disaster.
Validation is also the most time consuming part of building a biz and it’s where people tend to fall off. You’re spot on though. address the pain point for direction but throw in some patience for longevity.
Thank you, now it’s a game of patience and perseverance
You don’t need a unique idea to make money. You just need to provide something that others need.
exactly
that’s why we love the idea of boring businesses.
businesses that solve day to day problems.
ideas are cheap, they say, but we think ideas are important, if you choose to work on something nobody is willing to pay, it is essentially costing you the most valuable asset, which is your time.
This is obvious if you’re around for more than a couple of years.
I’m 40, so I can tell you that everyone thought (and often said) that “all the best ideas have already been invented” before:
- ChatGPT
- TikTok
- Social Media
- Netflix
- Youtube
- The internet
haha Dyson Sphere next?
