Yes, we’re 14 games in but its a pretty good sample size already to start talking about a midseason report, and looking to the all-star break. I’ve been having this argument with friends and various people on the internet.
- If you go based on scoring efficiency, you’d have Holmgren as the better player.
- If you go based on defense and volume scoring , Wemby is the better player.
Obviously Holmgren will have the ball in his hands less given he plays alongside Giddey and SGA, whereas Wembyis always the first option on his team.
Name | PTS | TRB | AST | FG% | FG3% | FT% | BLK | STL | PER |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Chet | 17.0 | 7.8 | 2.6 | 56.5% | 46% | 90.7% | 2.1 | 0.9 | 22.1 |
Wemby | 19.3 | 9.5 | 2.4 | 42.9% | 28.4% | 77.8% | 2.6 | 1.1 | 16.2 |
Has there been any other season in history where two rookie big men were possibly all-stars in the same year? Let alone two rookies?
Is it possible both could be co-ROTY and all-stars?
Neither are all stars, Chet closer than Wemby, Chet RoY by a mile as of now
